Volt is looking for an Assistant Project Manager for a local construction client
We are hiring for a growing construction company in central San Antonio. This client is working on several key projects in Texas, and they are looking to add an Assistant Project Manager to their team.
The ideal candidate would be working directly with the Project Manager and Business Development Team on bids and proposals. A big part of this role is coordinating costs (raw material, equipment, etc.) and ensuring contract / company quality standards are met.
Degree in construction management, engineering or construction related field or equivalent.
1-3 years previous experience in construction; industrial construction strongly preferred.
Ability to perform quantitative take-offs / estimate.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
Proven successful oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong detail orientation, accuracy is a must.
Other traits we are seeking: self-motivated, sense of urgency, reliable, persistent, quick learner with the ability to readily assimilate and retain new knowledge.
Must have proven ability to handle several tasks and projects simultaneously.
Must be able to travel 10-20% of the time.
Title : Asst. Project Manager
Pay : Depends on level of experience and education
Location : I-10 & Callaghan with project sites in San Antonio, Laredo, and San Marcos; some traveling may be required.
